Hello, my name is Michael Nerger and I am the pastor of Hazleton Community Church.  Julianne and I are excited about what God is doing in Hazleton.  I grew up in Hazleton and understand the culture of this area.  I can tell you where the old Farmer’s Dairy was and I still remember West Hazleton and Hazleton football games.  Our church and vision reflect this as we make an effort to reach out to the people of Hazleton and the surrounding communities.

             We try to stay true to our name, by making a difference for Jesus in the community.  You might have seen us at your local park having a kid's program with a huge bounce house, or giving away Thanksgiving Dinners to people working on Thanksgiving Day, or distributing vases full of beautiful flowers in the middle of February. 

I would like to invite you to join us as we minister to people outside of the church walls.

God is working all around us and we are excited about what He is going to do next.
